Readers spotted it while Hidden Hand was still posting. In his second session, someone asked whether he had read the Ra Material. In his fifth, another poster listed ten shared ideas and said there were "well over 50 examples". Hidden Hand did not deny the resemblance. He said Ra was the best channelled source in circulation.
This post puts the two texts next to each other so you can judge the overlap yourself. Hidden Hand quotes are from the transcript, by session. Ra quotes are from the L/L Research PDFs of The Law of One, Books I to IV, cited by the standard session.question numbers used at lawofone.info.
He raised the figure three times, twice in session 2 and once in session 3, and it never changed. Later in session 2 he called Ra's the only channelling he would class as a "Clear" message, "Though as I say, even then it's not 100%. More like 85-90%."

His dating is about right. Book I of the Ra Material was published in 1982, and the series ran to Book V in 1998. By 2008 it was free to read online: the ATS posters who raised it linked llresearch.org and lawofone.info in the thread itself.

In his fifth session Hidden Hand builds on the same numbers in his own words: "The Harvest is Mixed. Those who are 51% or over on the Positive path will Graduate to 4th Density Positive." The idea that the harvest is under way is Ra's too: "I am Ra. The harvest is now." (14.14).
Lucifer is what you would call a "Group Soul" or "Social Memory Complex", which has evolved to the level of the Sixth Density

The Wanderers, (or 'Travelers' as they are also known) are those from Higher Densities, who have chosen to incarnate here at this time, in order to perfect Service to Others. They still have to 'remember who they are', and part of the concern, is that sometimes, even they do not manage to awaken in the Game, such is the power of the Illusion.

Both put the council on Saturn and both call it eighth. Both also describe Earth as under quarantine. Hidden Hand says "currently, you are trapped (or more accurately "Quarantined") within the 'matter' of this planet" (session 2). Ra says a project goes before "the Council of Saturn. If it is approved, quarantine is lifted." (7.8).
Then there is the Orion Empire Group. Their purposes in visiting you are more along the Negative lines.

So far they agree. But in session 5 Hidden Hand says "the Orion Empire are 4th Density Negative" and that "there is no Negative Harvest beyond the 4th Density". Ra says otherwise:
There are a very few third density, a larger number of fourth density, a similarly large number of fifth density, and very few sixth-density entities comprising this organization.

Yahweh. Hidden Hand makes Yahweh the Planetary Logos of Earth and the creator of humanity: "He is 'a' Creator (or Sub-Sub-Logos) rather than the One Infinite Creator. He is not even a Galactic level Logos, but rather, is the Planetary Logos for this one planet." (session 2). Ra's Yahweh is much smaller: "Yahweh was of the Confederation but was mistaken in its attempts to aid." (18.23).
2012, the Maya and Nibiru. Hidden Hand ties the harvest to "December 21st, 2012" and to Nibiru. I searched the text of Books I to IV and found no mention of Nibiru or the Maya. Those parts came from the 2012 literature popular at the time, not from Ra.
The borrowing is plain. The structure of Hidden Hand's cosmology, much of its vocabulary, and at least one passage that is close to a paraphrase all match a book series published between 1982 and 1998 and freely available long before October 2008. The ATS poster in session 5 called it plagiarism. Hidden Hand's own explanation was that the two groups "both originate from the Source of the Infinite Creator, and we both remember where we come from. I would expect our messages to contain the same Core Truths." (session 2).
Those are the two readings: a writer who knew the Ra books well and added bloodlines, 2012 and a negative harvest, or two sources drawing on one body of knowledge. The texts cannot settle that. What they can show is how much of Hidden Hand was already in print by 2008, and how little of the overlap needed an insider to write it. Which reading fits better is for the reader to weigh.
